Blush is the quickest way to bring warmth to the face, and I am seriously loving this Mineral Blush Duo in Obsession/Fulfillment by Ellana. These are amazingly pigmented; almost as pigmented as theBalm's inStain line. The babydoll pink is great for a youthful flush, while the peachy orange is perfect for a subtle glow. You can also layer the two for a more complex shade.




Obsession, described as a "sheer raspberry red," is really more of a Barbie pink. Fulfillment, a "watermelon peach with gold shimmer," is Ellana's answer to NARS Orgasm. I find it to be more orange, and lighter, than the latter. Both shades are actually matte. They swatch chalky but appear very natural on the cheeks.



These blushes are very soft; you can see how much powder kicks up with a single swipe of a brush. This makes them very easy to blend. Despite being powdery, they have fantastic color payoff. One swipe is all I need! They also stayed on a full 7 hours and only seemed to look more natural as the day went on. I am now eyeing the Kitten/Peach Passion duo, as raved about by Julia of Bless My Bag.
