Well this is long overdue. Two weeks ago Tellie kindly gave away seats to the Shiseido talk at the BDJ Box Social. Thank you Tellie!! While I didn't actually make it to the talk (heehee), I was happy to see old acquaintances and meet girls I've only "spoken" with online. See above: Tellie of Beauty by Tellie, yours truly, and Bea of The Dalaga Project. Also, the rather flattering effect of blown-out flash on wrinkles, pores, and dark spots.

Tellie and Bea derp it up while Tellie's better half struggles to provide a modicum of decency.

The only talk I sat in for was Benefit's Primed and Ready spiel, where they featured new products Lollitint and The Big Easy, as well as old favorites like High Beam and Porefessional. I'm a big fan of Benefit's Hello Flawless liquid foundation (my current everyday face base) so I'm excited to try The Big Easy. Although BDJ encouraged girls to pre-register for the talks, things were pretty informal and anyone could join as long as there were still seats available.


The reason I sat out the Shiseido talk is because I was hanging out at the Ellana booth, where Liz of Project Vanity was working her magic on Bea.

I can't rave enough about this eyebrow/eyeshadow quad; it's my go-to for barely-there looks.

Three Ellana beauty advocates. ;) Look at that lip color! It's an upcoming brilliant red shade from their lip-and-cheek palettes, seen on the right below.

I'm really eyeing that hot pink one as well. So spring-and-summer!

And of course I bumped into Pat of Becoming Sleek, looking very lovely wearing Ellana as well!
